William “Bill” E. Juhasz, age 85, of Jackson, Ohio left to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 25th,2022, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born January 27th, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William and Agatha Juhasz of Conneaut, Ohio.
Bill was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne, also known as America’s Guard of Honor. He was a drill instructor of the Airborne Infantry division. He was a faithful member of the Amvets Post #84. Bill was a foreman with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant in Jackson until his retirement.
He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends and listening to country and gospel music. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He attended the Jackson First Church of the Nazarene.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Juhasz of Jackson, Ohio; four children: Tracy Barnes of Jackson, Ohio, Renee (Charles) Stanley of Jackson, Ohio, Kathy (Larry) McDaniel of Jackson, Ohio, and Mike (Joyce) Barnes of Oak Hill, Ohio; five grandchildren: Chelsey (Jacob) Briggs of California, Jessica (Derek) Cales of Oak Hill, Ohio, Myah (Chris) Litman of Jackson, Ohio, and Jeremy (Kaylyn) Barnes of Jackson, Ohio, and Caleb Stanley of Gallipolis, Ohio; two sisters: Patricia (Ed) Van’Cura of Georgia and Roseann Caldron of Conneaut, Ohio; four brothers: Richard Juhasz of Ashtabula, Ohio, Edward (Tina) Juhasz of Monroe Township, Ohio, Joseph Juhasz and Stephen Juhasz both of Pierpont, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Bobby Juhasz.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 28th, 2022, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 1PM with Rev. Fred Crabtree officiating.
