Wendell Wilkie Hatfield, age 81, of Waterloo, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2022, at his home. He was born August 25th, 1940, in West Virginia to the late Cummings and Fannie (Warner) Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Juanita (Cole) Hatfield; sons: Ronald (Lisa) Hatfield and Tony (Rena) Hatfield; niece whom he raised and thought of as a daughter, Juanita (Michael) Thompson; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Ernest Hatfield, Wallace Hatfield, Betty Farney, Alma Jean Woods, and Ettice Bloomfield.
Wendell enjoyed spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 20th, 2022, at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill from 11AM-1PM. Funeral services will follow at 1PM with Pastor Scott Jenkins officiating.
