Ronnie J. Franklin, age 56, of Jackson, passed away after an extended illness on July 27, 2022, surrounded by his family at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born January 24, 1966, in Defiance, Ohio to Connie (Snyder) Warren and the late Ronald J. Franklin.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Connie (Jim Bob) Warren; brother, Shawn Warren, all of Jackson; granddaughter, Cassidy Bing, of Oak Hill; and his favorite niece Haley Warren, of Jackson. Also surviving is his best friend J.R., and many other friends and relatives.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa Franklin, and grandpa, Delmer Snyder, and Bob and Mable Warren.
Ronnie graduated from Jackson High School. After graduation he went to college at Shawnee University for a year and then, he entered heating and cooling school. He then started at Montgomery Trucking in Wellston, where he’s worked and drove the rest of his life. He enjoyed NASCAR, muscle cars, Harley Davidson, and Jackson Ironmen football.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 2-4 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
