On July 1, 2023, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Robert Dwight Miller passed away at The James in Columbus, Ohio following a short illness. Bob was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Dwight and Martha Miller of Oak Hill.

Robert (better known as Bob or Bobby) of Hilliard, was a 1972 graduate of Oak Hill High School. Following graduation, he moved to the Columbus area. He worked for Chesrown Oldsmobile, Rockwell (building B-1 bombers), Buckeye Steel, and American Colloid before opening C&B Auto Repair in 1981.

On May 25, 1985, he married Jill Snider Sayers. Bob would stay close to home to care for his wife. Bob is survived by his wife, Jill, of Hilliard; children, Matthew Sayers (Yovanka), of Grove City and Nicholas Miller (Cassie), of Hilliard; grandchildren, Gabriella and Maximus Sayers, of Grove City, Chloe and Jeffrey Holcomb and Anna Nicole Miller, of Hilliard. He is also survived by sisters Marilyn (Darrell) Boggs and Sharilyn (Rob) Leonard, of Oak Hill and Carolyn Curtis of Jackson and his beloved cats.

Bob was a kind soul who would help anyone who needed assistance in anyway. He loved plants and animals, and he valued his cars, especially his Model A which he and his father built together. He is certainly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life for Bob is scheduled for Sunday, August 20 at 12:30 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Bob's final resting place will be C. M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
