Ricky Edward Rainer, age 69, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Monday, August 28th, 2023, at Buckeye Forest of Jackson. He was born May 29th, 1954, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Thomas Milburn and Mary Evelyn (Nichols) Rainer.

Ricky was a veteran of the United States Air Force in which he served proudly. He enjoyed church and loved life.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Peggy Bloomfield of Oak Hill, Ohio; stepdaughter, Mandy (Dannie) Ratliff of Oak Hill, Ohio; stepson, Tommy Canter of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren: Haley Ratliff of Huntington, West Virginia, Jason, Ethan, and Lucas Ratliff all of Oak Hill, Ohio, Diane Canter of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Kylie McCain of Jackson, Ohio; special niece, Meagan McCain; and special nephews, Zak (Stacey) McCain and Cody McCain.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patty (Fisher) Rainer and sister, Debbie Rainer.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 1st, 2023, from 11-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Pastor Danny Boggs officiating with a burial after at C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
