Patrick Lee "Bear" Drake, aged 67, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on July 23, 2024. Born in Portland, Oregon, on February 27, 1957, Patrick was a spirited soul known for his hearty laughter and deep love for his family.
After graduating from Jackson High School, Patrick dedicated several years to serving in the Air Force, a commitment that filled him with pride and camaraderie. Post-military, he ventured to Las Vegas, where he spent many years as a construction worker, a job that echoed his robust and resilient nature.
Patrick was an ardent fan of the Steelers, often found cheering for his team during the season. His presence was a comforting constant, much like the enduring strength of the teams he supported.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy Drake; daughters, Katherine, Jennifer, and Stephanie Drake; brother, Ed Drake; and grandchildren Austin Barker, Seth Hemminger, Mathew Keen, and Kelsey Keen.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elaine Drake.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, July 26th, 2024, from 5PM-6PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 6PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
