Nancy Carol Brammer, age 83, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, at Holzer Assisted Living. She was born June 15th, 1940, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Raymond and Hazel (Nye) Brammer.
Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Jackson High School and was an Ohio Bureau of Employment services retiree. Nancy was active in many clubs, even holding offices in several through the years including the Wagon Wheelers Square Dance Club, Eastern Star, Progress Club, Jackson Business and Professional Women’s Club, the Garden Club, and the Silver Serenaders. She was also a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Jackson. Nancy loved cats and most always had one as a pet.
She is survived by nieces and nephews: Michael Brammer of Oxford, Michigan, Marilyn (George) Biondi of Clinton Township, Michigan, Richard Ray of Crofton, Maryland, Rebecca (Dick) Jaycox of Wellston, Ohio, Steven (Denise) Ray of Columbus, Ohio, and Jana Ray of Wellston, Ohio; several great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend of many years, Sharon Eubanks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Brammer; sister, Dorothy Brammer Ray; sister-in-law, Adra Brammer; and brother-in-law, Charles Ray.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 13th, 2023, from 12-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Rev. Janie Karl officiating. Burial to follow at Fairmount. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
