Lowell Daniel “Danny” Long, age 70, of Wheelersburg, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 17th, 2023, at the VA Medical Center in Dayton. He was born January 23rd, 1953, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late, Mary Long.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Joa (McCorkle) Long; sons, Lowell Jr. (Brandi) Long, Herschel (Sarah Beth) Long, and Richard Tyrone (Lisa) Long; daughters, Karin Ashley Long and Shantae Long; thirteen grandchildren: Faith, Alexis, Laila, Alaina, Maxwell, Gabriel, Cole, Cierra, Keara, Aria, Ameilia "Mea", Liam, and Aaliyah; one great-granddaughter, Alani "Lani"; as well as many special family members, friends, and his cats he enjoyed taking care of.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 20th, 2023, from 12:30PM-1:45PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Graveside services will follow at 2PM at Union Baptist Cemetery in Blackfork, Ohio. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
