Lorita June (Grover) Rader, 85, passed away at 3:00 am August 30, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center, after a valiant long-term battle with lung disease.

During her life, she was active in her church, Trinity Chapel, in Jackson, Ohio. Always willing to help, some specifics included board member, youth Sunday School teacher, missions president and a constant prayer warrior. She also had a passion for the local Shoebox Ministry.

She was a wonderful seamstress and her many finished works included specialty items like wedding gowns, mens suits, JHS majorette uniforms and clothing for many church plays.

Lorita was a homemaker first but went on to work for Campbell Soup Mushroom Farm for over 30 years as an executive bookkeeper until retirement.

She loved cooking for her family, who enjoyed her homemade cinnamon rolls, strawberry pies and deviled eggs.

She loved gardening, camping, singing in the choir and making crafts for all occasions.

But her biggest love was her family. She was always there to help, to love, to support, and to encourage. She lived and breathed for her family. The only thing greater was her love for God. She worked hard every day of her life but she always said God was the source of her strength, her rock.

She gave all she was to God, her family, her church, her friends and strangers in need. She will be so missed by all.

Lorita was born to Oscar and Ida Grover of Jackson, Ohio, both deceased. Also preceding her in death were her siblings Glenna Exline, Esther Rice, Oscar (Bud) Grover Jr., Mary Grover, Ida Mae (Mert) Alexander, and Barbara (Pat) Holloway. Also predeceased was her son-in-law Steve Sirback and her step-son Brad Rader.

She is survived by her husband Herman Rader of Jackson; her sister Betty Vance of Londonderry, Ohio; her children Debbie Sirback of Lancaster, Ohio; David (Jennifer) Paugh of Bainbridge, Georgia; and Dwayne (Ellen) Paugh of Peyton, Colorado, and step-son Steve (Barb) Rader of Beaver, Ohio. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren: Amy Mercer (Scott Lowe), Alicia (Cory) Sheppard, Jessica (Anthony) Marcarelli, Daniel (Shantale) Paugh, Megan Paugh, Heath (Jessica) Rader, and Ryan (Jacinda) Rader; as well as 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Trinity Chapel Church in Jackson, 14545 SR 93, Jackson, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 2, 2022, at the church with Pastor Knox Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Ridge Cemetery.
