Kyle Mason Chandler, age 25, of Oak Hill passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 29, 2022, due to a motorcycle accident. He was born October 18, 1996, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Marci Rohrer, and Joseph D. Chandler.


He is survived by his high school sweetheart who is now his wife, Marlie (Gray) Chandler; two children, Avery and Jase chandler; mother, Marci Rohrer; step father, Lamar Stanton; father, Joe (Tammie) Chandler; brothers, Bradey (Tomi) Chandler, Zach Chandler, Julian Stanton, Gabe Stanton; sister, Katelyn Chandler; step-sister, Isabella Scully-Tenpenny; sister-in-law, Ashton Gray; brother-in-law, Talyn McCain; nephew, Brayden Chandler; niece, Knoxlee McCain; grandparents, Barbara Chandler, Marty (Pam) Rohrer, and Debi (Dan) Schermerhorn; father-in-law, Jody Gray; and many other friends, family, cousins, aunts and uncles he held dear to his heart.


He is preceded in death by grandfather, Jerry Chandler; mother-in-law, Amy Gray; and stepbrother, Daniel Woods.


Kyle was a hardworking, loving father and husband. He gave 100% on everything he did, and he loved so hard. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, fixing vehicles, riding, grilling Sunday dinners with family, and he lived his life to the fullest, he wasn’t afraid of the “what ifs” in life.


Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 12-2 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Cemetery in Lucasville. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
