Keith Corbett Hall, 82, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was born on January 23, 1941, in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Ethar and Onedis Hall. He was preceded in death by his faithful and loving wife of 57 years, Joan Carol (Radabaugh) Hall.
He is survived by his devoted children: Julie (Kelly) Needham of Jackson, Angela (John) Hickerson of Oak Hill, Kristina Costilow of Oak Hill, Brian (Jennie) Hall of Oak Hill, Jeff (Linda) Hall of Chillicothe, and Tricia (Lance) Campbell of Oak Hill; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Garry (Joyce) Hall of Jackson; and sisters, Rushie McAllister of Oak Hill, and Wallean (Forrest) Batton of Bellefontaine; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Keith was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Benjamen Tyler Higley, and two brothers.
He was baptized into Christ in August of 1961, and later in life became an active member of Henderson Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon.
He served his country in the United States Army and was a proud fifty-year member of District 3 of the Ohio Operating Engineers Local 18 where he retired as a master mechanic and operator, working in many areas throughout Ohio and other states.
During his later years, he enjoyed his retirement by traveling to the majority of the U.S. with his dedicated wife and also by fishing, boating and four-wheeling with his little brother. He additionally became a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America and The Old Man Liars Club at McDonalds.
He has left behind a legacy of being an honest, hard-working, respectful Christian man who was always ready to help wherever he saw a need. Leading by example, he taught all those he met what values, morals and friendliness meant. He will be deeply missed by all those that called him Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 4-8 PM and again Wednesday, August 2, from 12-1 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM with William Deem officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery with military honors.
