Jerry A. Moore, age 68, of South Webster, Ohio and formerly of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away April 12th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Jerry was born February 3rd, 1957, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Charles “Blackie” Moore and Dorothy “Dot” Moore.
Jerry had a passion for cars, enjoying his career as a self-employed auto mechanic and auto body technician. He spent a lot of his time racing cars.
Jerry married the love of his life, Marlene Moore on May 12th, 2012.
In addition to his devoted wife, Marlene, Jerry is survived by his five children: Jeremy Moore, Jamie (Mark) Howard, Ashley Osborne, Justin Deck, and Nicholas Moore; five grandchildren; sister, Irene (Ron) Crabtree; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Noah “Lance” Moore; sister, Louanna Bond; and daughter, Anne Deck.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 1PM with Rev. Stan Howard officiating and a burial after at Kelly Cemetery in South Webster. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
