Jack D. Rhea of Jackson, Ohio passed away peacefully on his 90th birthday surrounded by his family. He was born April 9th, 1933, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Harry and Marjorie (Sears) Rhea.
Jack was a 1952 graduate of Jackson High School. After high school he enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in which he actively served from 1952-1955. He retired from General Mills. In his spare time, he often wrote various articles for the local newspaper.
He is survived by his daughters, Michele (Larry) Phillips, Sue Lee, and Judy (Dale) Exline; grandchildren: Tiffany (David) Holdren, Eric (Jamie) Prindes, Joshua (Missy) Exline, and Grace (Brian) Yates; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jacob, Chloe, and Simeon; sister-in-law, Patsy Rhea; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (Wastier) Rhea; and siblings: Dale, Kathleen, Robert, Ronald, and Larry.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, at 1PM at Hamilton Cemetery with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
