It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ellen Louise (Sydenstricker) Boggs, of Oak Hill, Ohio, age 78, who died on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born October 5, 1946, to the late Helen Egnor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald “Jeep” Boggs; son, Scott (Kim) Spohn; daughters, Debra Boggs and Kristie (Jerry) French; grandchildren, Molly Spohn, Hannah (Brandon) Banks, Ciara Davis (Hayden), and Zach Russell; great grandchildren, Jane Banks, Judah Banks, and Charleigh Harris; sister, Iva May (Dave) Williamson; niece, Sarah (Doug) Wooten; great nephew and niece, Bryner Wooten and Calianne Wooten; and close friends, Susan Wilson and Betty Brewer.
Ellen spent her life devoted to her family and was the happiest when they were all together.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at C.M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
Jeep and family, I am so sorry for your grief! Ellen was a wonderful person and a dear friend! Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! Ellen and I worked together for many years and I cherish those memories!
