Born January 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. Haines and Edna Bell (McNutt) Taylor and loving stepfather, Rev. Roy Taylor.

Donna graduated from New Marshfield High School where she actively participated in school musicals and plays. She worked at McBee Binder Co. right out of high school. She ran the Jackson Dry Cleaners and Laundromat at the shopping center in Jackson and sold Tupperware for many years, but her favorite job was being a mother and homemaker.
