Charles David Johnson, age 66, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at the Ohio State University Hospital. He was born April 25th, 1954 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Clyde E. and Ruby V. (Terry) Johnson.

Charles was a 1972 graduate of Southwestern High School. He worked as an electrician down through the years.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Deblois) Johnson; daughters, Mary Johnson and Vanessa Johnson; grandchildren: Aubrie, Jordan, and Leo; siblings: Jerry (JerryLynn) Johnson, Brenda (John) Hickman, and Wayne Johnson; mother-in-law, Menelia; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Arman, Lourdes, Mae, and Rustico.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Anthony Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 at 11AM with Pastor Kevin Terry officiating at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Per CDC and governor guidelines, everyone is required to wear a mask while indoors at the funeral home.
