Bill “Billy” H. Jones, age 79, resident of Denver, North Carolina for the last twenty years and formerly of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, at his home. He was born August 20th, 1943, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Ralph and Rachel (Tipton) Jones.

Billy is survived by his sister, Carol Hammond; sisters-in-law, Janice Jones and Cheryl Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Don (Sheila) Goheen, Bob (Shirley) Jones, Wally (Judy) Jones, Carl “Pete” Jones, and Ronald Jones; and two sisters, Jane (Louie) Ervin and Kathleen (Carlos) Vires.

Billy was a retired mechanic who especially enjoyed his old hot rods. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 6th, 2023, at 1PM at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
