Mary Lou McWhorter, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 15th, 1943 in Olive Furnace, Ohio to the late Clifton and Nellie (Russell) Malone in Ironton, Ohio.

Mary worked at JCS Employees Federal Credit Union for over thirty years.

She is survived by her son, Brian (Rhonda) McWhorter of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Leslie (Jeff) Mullins of Jackson, Ohio; grandsons: Justin (Sally) Mullins, Ryan (Chelsea) Mullins, Jason (Chantelle) McWhorter, and Aaron McWhorter (Jody Brafford); granddaughter, Brianna (Shannon)Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Eldon (Connie) Malone of Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Eula Lewis; brother, Fred Malone; infant brother, Clifton Malone; and infant sister, Evelyn.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
