On Monday, September 16, 2019, Ashley G. Brown, age 32, passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN, due to a sudden illness. Ashley was born on November 28, 1986 in Hampton, VA to Evan and Debbie Brown, while her father was serving in the Armed Forces. Ashley had an infectious smile and bubbly personality that lit up every room she walked into. No matter your walk in life, Ashley had the most compassionate heart and made everyone she encountered feel like they had a purpose. She had a passion for helping others and touched so many lives in doing so. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ashley is survived by her parents, Evan and Debbie Brown; brothers, Tyler (Lisa) Brown and Austin (Briana) Brown; nieces and nephews, Braydon, Addison “Addy” and Colt Brown, Hayzlee and Dawson Brown; grandparents, Bill and Charlotte Morris (Murfreesboro, TN); along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ashley is also survived by her adored boxer, Jagger, whom she affectionately called Jaggy Pants. Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Frazier; her paternal grandparents, Johnny and Mary K Brown; her aunt, Linda Brunton; and cousins, Mary Brown, Michael Brown, Destiny Radabaugh, Ellen Coleman, Jessie Coleman, and Bryce Coleman. Visitation will be held at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 4 -8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11 am. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery. Presiding over the service will be Pastor Bucky Shoemate and Reverend Dan Brown.
