Evelyn Marie (Smith) Crabtree Pollard, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Monday, April 17th, 2017 at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born in Jackson County to the late Albert J. and Ethel Mae (Shoemaker) Smith.

She is survived by her children: Gary (Gretchen) Crabtree, Brenda (Louis)Walsh, Bill (Sheri) Crabtree, and Lorenda (Jeff) Pinson; grandchildren: Katie (Brandon) Thomas, Colin, Emily, and Mac Crabtree, Jeff (Rachel) Israel, Ryan and Nick Walsh, Jeri Tye and Mikayla Pinson; sister, Carol Moore; sister-in-law, Doris Rapp; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Crabtree; second husband, Otho Pollard; and her siblings: Ralph Smith, Roger Smith, and Mary Boyer.

Evelyn was an avid quilter. She loved to read and do word searches. She attended Petrea Freewill Baptist.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 from 1:30-3:30pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:30 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Keaton officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
