Betty (West) Alford, age 83, of Ray, Ohio entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was born April 26, 1933 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Nathaniel and Gladys (Young) West.

Betty was a long-time resident of Ray, OH and a member of the Fairview Christian Church of Tick Ridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Alford, son, Richard Alford, grandson, Logan Alford, sister, Addie Davenport, brothers-in-law, Tom, Earl Jr., Dick, Stub, Bill, Randall and Bob and sisters-in-law, Mabel, Audrey, Perk, Winnie, Lucy and Mary Beth.

She is survived by her children, Paula (Dick) Hatfield, of Johnstown, OH, Charles (Kelli) Alford, of Baltimore, OH, Chip (Teddi) Alford, of Laurelville, OH and Mike (Kelly) Alford, of Ray, OH; sister, Mae Warrens, of Wellston, OH; sisters-in-law, Tootle, Reda, Stella, Charlene and Margie; brothers-in-law, Forrest, Herbert and Wendell; grandchildren, Lisa, Angela, Scott, Zack, Molly, Jacob, Tiffany, Lacey, Charles Jr., Jessica, Joshua, Troy and Leah and great grandchildren, Alex, Kayla, Abigail, Brayden, Jax and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Fairview Christian Church of Tick Ridge from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2017 at the church with Pastors Ron Warrens and Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Tick Ridge Cemetery.
